On 2 and 3 June, the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ), an ELI Institutional Observer, is holding its General Assembly in Warsaw (Poland). The title of this year’s Assembly is ‘The Future of Justice in Europe’. Esteemed panelists from all over Europe will discuss the possible directions in which the justice system might develop.
Diana Wallis, President of the ELI, will represent the Institute and speak on 3 June about the future of co-operation in the EU Justice Sector. President Wallis will be joined in this panel by Prof. Dr. Koen Lenaerts, President of the Court of Justice of the EU, who will present his views on the future of Judicial Dialogue in Europe as well as by Mr David Kosař, Assistant Professor at Masaryk University, who will discuss the future of Councils for the Judiciary and self-governance.
Recently, the ELI has strengthened its cooperation with the ENCJ by establishing a joint project on Alternative Dispute Resolution. More information about this project will soon be available on our website. The project will also be presented during the ELI Annual Conference in Ferrara, which will take place on 7-9 September.
