Irish Hub

The Irish Hub is chaired by Paul Gilligan, Paul Keane and William McKechnie. An event at the Four Courts building in Dublin on 11 June 2012 marked the starting point of the ELI Irish Hub. On that occasion, Paul Gilligan (former President of the European network of Councils for the Judiciary and ex-officio Council Member), organised the event, attended by then ELI President Sir Francis Jacobs, and other ELI Members such as Fabrizio Caffagi and John Sorabji. ELI's structure, its current and future projects as well as its goals and ambitions were presented. This was followed by a lively discussion with the audience which consisted of representatives of academia and the judiciary.

Upon joining ELI, one becomes a member of the Hub in their country of residence or seat, provided no objections are raised. You can find the list of Individual Members by country of residence here.
