The Council is ELI's management body currently composed of 55 elected members and several ex officio members. It convenes at least twice a year.
This year, the event took place at the Austrian Supreme Court and was opened by Georg Kodek, President of the Court. The February Council meeting serves as an occasion for Council members to provide constructive input on ELI projects.
