The Polish-Swiss Private Law Forum, co-hosted by the ELI Polish Hub, commenced with opening remarks by distinguished figures including Prof Wojciech Zalewski (Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Gdańsk University), His Excellency Fabrice Filliez (Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation) and Prof Dr Ewa Baginska (Chair of the Department of Civil Law and Co-chair of the ELI Polish Hub).

During the conference, President Pichonnaz integrated a panel of esteemed experts in the field. He contributed to discussions on the Swiss legal tradition, with a particular focus on the Swiss approach to statutory interpretation and its implications for cultural diversity.
