First meeting of the European Law Institute’s French Hub

05.12.2012

Over 60 legal professionals representing all branches of law came together in Paris on 5 December 2012 to witness the establishment of the French Hub of the European Law Institute.

The Hub will aim at encouraging the ELI’s members who live in France to take an active part in the Institute’s work. It will assist with arranging occasional presentations of the ELI’s work and will facilitate discussion of ELI projects in the native language of the Institute’s French-speaking members and in the presence of the professional organisations which have become ELI observers.

The Hub is also envisioned as a centre that can assist its members with presenting ELI projects at law conferences and other events, such as meetings of judges, academics and practitioners.

The establishment of the French Hub took place as a part of a larger presentation of the ELI’s current and future projects.

The members will be kept informed of the hub’s work through regular emails.  To learn more about the French Hub or to join, please contact Marc Clément  or Carole Aubert de Vincelles.
