Meeting between ELI President Christiane Wendehorst and OECD

On 16 March, Christiane Wendehorst, President of the ELI, met Angel Gurría, Secretary General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) at the OECD headquarters in Paris (France).

Christiane Wendehorst gave an overview of the work of the ELI and informed him of ELI projects on themes that align themselves with the interests of the OECD, including the recently completed ELI Project on the Detention of Asylum Seekers and Irregular Migrants and the Rule of Law. The two also spoke, among other topics, about digitalisation, notably platforms and liability issues and the ELI project on tax law.
