Presentation of the ELI-ENCJ Statement on ADR in Liverpool (UK)

27.06.2018

Diana Wallis, former President of the European Law Institute (ELI) and former Vice-President of the European Parliament, took part in a conference on Online Dispute Resolution: Justice Re-Imagined on 27–28 June in Liverpool, UK, during which she presented the ELI-European Networks of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ) Statement on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

In particular, Wallis spoke during a panel on ‘Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) on the Statute Book and in Court Proceedings’, which focused on a review of current legislative and regulatory moves in place and prospective, promoting or otherwise impacting on the future of ODR including the European law on ODR.

This very well-attended event was a great opportunity to promote the ELI-ENCJ Statement as well as the Dispute Resolution: Beyond the Courts Conference that the ELI is organising with the ENCJ and the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier on 9 November 2018.
