Pamela McCormick, the Registry Lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), who was an active team member of the ELI project on ‘Detention of Asylum Seekers and Irregular Migrants and the Rule of Law: Checklists and European Standards’ spoke at the event organised by the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Strasbourg.
The seminar provided legal practitioners with an update on the case law delivered by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) – mainly in 2017 and 2018 – regarding detention matters.
