University College Dublin Organises One-Day Conference on 3 November 2018 in Dublin (Ireland)

On behalf of the University College Dublin (UCD), an Institutional Observer of the ELI, the following call for papers is shared with you: A one-day conference on 3 November 2018 in Dublin (Ireland) will bring together scholars from a range of disciplinary fields to address the role that human rights have in tackling the global challenges of poverty and material deprivation. It will consider the moral basis and content of human rights against poverty, what obligations these rights entail and how they can be institutionally implemented and enforced. Each speaker will have twenty minutes of presentation time, followed by ten minutes Q&A. The UCD invites you to submit your abstract of no more than 300 words by 17 September 2018. Further details can be found here.
