20.11.2025

ELI affiliates participated in the ‘European and Hungarian Approaches to the Governance of Artificial Intelligence’ training programme organised by the European Law Advisors’ Network (ELAN) of the National Office for the Judiciary in Hungary from 19–21 November 2025.

ELI project Reporters contributed to the event with two well-received presentations.

Dr Dory Reiling delivered a lecture on the Digitalisation of Civil Justice Systems in Europe, offering insights into ongoing technological transformations within European judiciaries. On the second day, Sir Paul Mahoney and  Dr Rafał Ryngielewicz presented the ELI project on Case-Overload at the European Court of Human Rights, outlining challenges and potential solutions in managing the Court’s growing caseload.

ELAN expressed deep appreciation for the expertise shared by the ELI speakers and indicated interest in welcoming ELI at future events. ELI has contributed to the ELAN Training programme since 2021.
