ELI’s President, Prof Dr Pascal Pichonnaz, attended UNIDROIT’s Governing Council’s 100th Session in Rome. The event, which takes place in hybrid format from 22–24 September 2021, comes on the heels of the publication of ELI-UNIDROIT’s Model European Rules of Civil Procedure with Oxford University Press.

On the occasion, President Pichonnaz met UNIDROIT’s Secretary-General Prof Ignacio Tirado as well as  UNIDROIT's President, Prof Maria Chiara Malaguti, all of whom reflected on the excellent cooperation in projects undertaken by both organisations and how to further strengthen ties in the future.
