First Meeting of the Concept and Role of Courts in Family and Succession Matters Project’s Reporters

29.10.2020

Elena Bargelli, Anatol Dutta and François Trémosa, reporters of the above ELI project, met remotely on 29 October.

The recently adopted project on the Concept and Role of Courts in Family and Succession Matters aims at improving the application and implementation of out-of-court proceedings in family and succession matters. The project is divided into two phases. The goal of the first phase is to elaborate a policy statement based on the current legal landscape. The reporters discussed recent developments in the field as well as a questionnaire that will form the basis of further research.

The reporters are planning to organise a workshop with the members of the Advisory Committee in spring 2021; the format of the workshop will be dependent on the  latest developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
