Public Relations (PR) Officer

Leonor Franco is a Public Relations Officer at the ELI Secretariat. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Governance, Leadership and Democracy Studies from the Catholic University of Portugal, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from the same institution.

Prior to her current role, Franco contributed to the communication efforts at SOS Children Villages International. She concentrated on communicating evidence-based decision-making strategies to drive change, specifically in the context of Programme IT Systems. In this capacity, she also played a key role in coordinating cross-regional collaboration in EMEA, Asia, and Latin America. Franco has garnered valuable public affairs experience at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, and advocacy and project management skills at WWF Austria.

In her current capacity, Franco is tasked with advancing ELI's Public Relations strategy, overseeing the ELI Newsletter, managing the layout of various ELI reports and the organization's website. Additionally, she is responsible for coordinating Hubs and SIGs. Franco can be contacted here.
