Finance and Events Officer

Sarah Fischer is the Finance and Events Officer at the ELI Secretariat. She is currently studying Economics and Social Sciences at WU Vienna and has recently begun a second Bachelor's degree in International Legal Studies at the University of Vienna. Her academic interests lie particularly at the intersection of economics, law and international institutions. 

Originally from Munich, Sarah moved to Vienna in 2024 for her studies. She previously spent time at a boarding school in England, where she developed an interest in international and multicultural environments. She has gained experience in finance, event organisation and communications through professional and academic activities. During an internship at Memodo GmbH, she supported the finance team, as well as the marketing team with organisational and event-related tasks. Furthermore, she is experience in writing and editorial projects.

At ELI, Sarah supports the Secretariat in financial and administrative matters, including budgeting and financial coordination, as well as in the organisation of ELI events and activities.
