On October 23, 2024 legal scholars and practitioners joined the online Evening Lecture on the book “Third-Party Litigation Finance: Law, Policy, and Practice” by Prof. Anthony J. Sebok (Cardozo School of Law, New York). The event, co-moderated by Prof. Susanne Augenhofer and Prof. Walter Doralt, featured an engaging discussion on the rapidly evolving field of litigation finance, addressing its impact on legal practice and regulatory challenges. Prof. Sebok also spoke about the process of realizing the book project and its importance in filling a gap in academic resources on this topic. The Q&A session fostered a dynamic exchange with Prof. Sebok offering insightful commentary on the US landscape of third-party funding.
