The ELI Italian Hub hosted an online seminar with the administrative support of Unibz.
Scientific Organisation: Prof. Laura Valle, Free University of Bolzano Administrative
Support: Dr. Alberto Frigo, Free University of Bolzano
In the perspective of the future application of EU law provisions about sustainability goals, it is useful to have a look at the experience of the relevant regulations already in place. The UN Guiding Principles and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are also a necessary benchmark in the field of the due diligence of the supply chain and, more broadly, for the protection of human rights and environmental resources in business activities. A comparison among the rules given in the interested fields as a transposition of EU laws in the different Member States is going to be very useful in the near future, along with the development of the framework of legal regulations with sustainability goals.
