Business and Financial Law SIG

The ELI Business and Financial Law SIG was established in mid-2015 and is currently chaired by Yuri Biondi and Corrado Malberti. Topics of focus include codification and implementation of the EU company law directives. The SIG also focuses on gathering information to foster transparency and accountability on corporate groups and financial intermediaries in the era of new information technologies; the role of shareholders and shareholding in the European corporate governance debate, including long-term shareholder engagement; groups of companies and related responsibilities and liabilities; as well as cross-border mobility of companies, private international law and regulatory competition.
