ELI President, Pascal Pichonnaz, ELI Executive Committee member and Co-Reporter of ELI’s Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Algorithmic Contracts project, Prof Dr Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell, Co-Reporter, Prof Christian Twigg-Flesner, and ELI’s Scientific Director, Univ-Prof Dr Christiane Wendehorst, met representatives of the European Commission Digital Transition and Judicial Training team members, represented by Ms Simona Staikova Van-Bommel.
Synergies between the ELI and the European Commission were discussed as well as progress on the second phase of ELI’s project. Discussions also turned to the UNCITRAL 57th Commission Session (24 June to 12 July 2024), where ELI will be represented by Univ-Prof Dr Christiane Wendehorst, in the Working Group IV session on automated contracting and guide to enactment.
