ELI Instrument on Rescue of Business in Insolvency Law
The Instrument was unanimously adopted by the ELI bodies in 2017. Bob Wessels and Stephan Madaus acted as Reporters for this project. Based on extensive national reports, they prepared a report with some 115 recommendations on the rescue of businesses in distress. In this EU-wide study they also looked into the treatment of corporate groups across Europe. The report, recently cited by the UK Government, is available here.
Another event on Insolvency law will be held on 11 December 2018 in Vienna (Austria) and the registration is still open. You can find more details here.
