Project Co-Reporter Yuri Biondi welcomed the participants and presented the revised draft ELI Principles of Corporate Sustainability, which deal with the following five broader categories: sustainable equity capital management; control over equity capital management; accounting measurement issues; intra-group and related party transactions; and capital, inter-company and cross-border transactions.

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, during which those present considered the definitions of terms used in the Principles as well as discussed issues such as company goodwill and creditor protection, among other things.

It is evisaged that the revised draft will be shared with the PT, AC and MCC Members for their final evaluation shortly.
