ELI and GPAI Cooperate on Cogenerated Data Project

30.08.2024

ELI and the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) sign agreement for ELI to contribute to GPAI’s project on Cogenerated Data.

.Prof Dr Alain Strowel, a member of the ELI Advisory Committee on the ALI-ELI Principles for a Data Economy: Data Transactions and Data Rights project, and Prof Dr Sebastian Schwamberger, LLM, an ELI Consultant in the above project, will lead ELI’s contribution to the GPAI project.

GPAI is an integrated partnership that brings together OECD members and GPAI countries to advance an ambitious agenda for implementing human-centric, safe, secure and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) embodied in the principles of the OECD Recommendation on AI.

Under the above project, ELI is tasked, among other thing, to develop principles for dealing with co-generation, sharing and governance in digital ecosystems. This project will be integrated into a broader GPAI project and will contribute to setting global standards for AI governance.
