The meeting took place in New York and online and focused on the discussions on the Model Legislative Provisions on Contracts for the Provision of Data.
Prof Christiane Wendehorst participated in her capacity as a leading expert in this field. Her involvement was particularly valuable given her longstanding work on the topic within both the American Law Institute (ALI) and ELI. The work currently being undertaken by UNCITRAL Working Group IV in this area draws extensively on the ALI-ELI Principles for a Data Economy developed by her and Neil B Cohen.
Further information and materials about the sessions can be found on the UNCITRAL website here.
