After a great deal of controversial discussion, the EU Representative Actions Directive was passed in late 2020 and has to be transposed by Member States by 25 December 2022. Key questions on the implementation of the Directive were discussed. Several stakeholders from the plaintiff/defendant spectrum, including Prof Beate Gsell (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich), discussed their views on this topic.
