The French National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, CNAM) is the only higher education establishment dedicated to life-long professional training. It is where the worlds of academics and professional activity come together. The CNAM has three main missions: higher lifelong vocational training, technological research and innovation, dissemination of scientific and technical culture.

On of her appointment, Fauvarque-Cosson stated: ‘It is an honor for me to become the general administrator of this great institution that is the CNAM. In a context of profound change in professional training and research, I will rely on all the teams so that the CNAM continues to fully accomplish its missions, continue its transformations and increase its influence’.
