Discussions at the 9th ELI Spanish Hub Annual Meeting centered on the interpretation and impact of European Case law on Spanish Domestic Law. Albert Ruda (Hub Chair, Girona), José Alberto Sanz (Dean, UCLM), Teresa Touriñán (Land Registry Association) and ELI Executive Committee Member, Dr Aneta Wiewiórowska-Domagalska (ELI Executive Committee) opened the event.

Among other things, Dr Wiewiórowska-Domagalska invited attendees to register for ELI’s Annual Conference, which takes place in Dublin, Ireland, from 9–11 of October 2024. She encouraged practitioners and judges to join ELI and run for the 2025 Council elections, noting that under-represented vocations are particularly welcome. She pointed to the upcoming KlimaSeniorinnen webinar as well as to other ELI activities, the recordings of which are available on ELI’s website.

The Spanish Hub was launched in 2016 and has been one of the most active Hubs since. It has been instrumental in the translation of several ELI outputs into Spanish.
