Professor Cavalier, a Reporter on ELI Study For a European Approach to R&D Tax Incentive(s) project, participated at the inaugural meeting of the European Commission’s Platform for Tax Good Governance under its new mandate.

The platform brings together key stakeholders, including EU institutions, NGOs, business federations, and Member States, to combat tax evasion and improve tax governance. This Commission’s platform enables collaboration and expertise-sharing with a view to supporting a more unified EU tax strategy.

At the meeting, Professor Cavalier engaged with Pasquale Tridico, Chair of the EU Parliament’s tax subcommittee (FISC), and Benjamin Angel, Director of Direct Taxation at the EU Commission, raising ELI’s output on European R&D tax policies.
