European Law Institute (ELI) President Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell  and EJTN Secretary General Judge Ingrid Derveaux participated in a UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD)-European Union workshop on product safety held in Brussels.

The workshop brought together stakeholders to discuss developments and challenges in the field of product safety, offering an important platform for dialogue and cooperation among European and international organisations. 

The participation of the President and Secretary General also provided an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration between both organisations. EJTN is a valued Institutional Member of ELI.

The meeting followed shortly after the ELI Annual Conference 2026, held in Paris, which focused on the rule of law and provided a forum for participants to review and discuss the outcomes of ELI projects and their contribution to legal development across Europe.
