On the occasion of the International Conference on AI Agents and Private Law (Madrid, Spain), ELI President, Prof Dr Pascal Pichonnaz, and ELI President-Elect, Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez de las Herras Ballel, met Javier Cremades García (President, World Jurists Association (WJA)).

They were joined by, among others, Teodora Toma (Regulatory & Public Affairs Director, Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo), Ángela Montoya Holguin (Chief Executive Officer, World Law Foundation) and William M Treanor (Executive Vice President & Dean of the Law Center, Georgetown University). 

This meeting follows the World Law Congress 2025 held in the Dominican Republic, organised by President Cremades García, where ELI hosted a distinguished panel on 'Protecting Liberal Democracy and Judicial Independence,' featuring Marko Bošnjak, President of the European Court of Human Rights.

This occasion offered a valuable chance to discuss recent legal developments and explore potential areas for collaboration.
