The ‘21st Century Tech Applications: Property and Intellectual Property Aspects, A British-Ukrainian Research Scholarship Conference’ aimed at discussing the wider perspective of technological challenges for law and regulation and ethical issues inherent to 21st century technologies.
Prof Dr Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell presented the current status of the above project on the occasion and the main principles that have been drafted. She focused on the key challenges that the project is facing and the solutions that are being explored. Thus, the scope of the project, the concept of digital assets, and the definition of enforcement in light of the first instalment of the project (which dealt with digital assets as collateral) and other instruments in the global scene, the interaction with regulations and the coverage of self-enforcement were discussed during the presentation.
