On the occasion, ELI’s Secretary General, Dr Vanessa Wilcox, informed the delegation composed of Tan Shangwei (Director, Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Putuo District, Shanghai), Li Xuyuan (Director, Office of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Putuo District, Shanghai), Dong Hongying (Chairman, Legal Affairs Committee of Putuo District People's Congress in Shanghai), Yu Yaguang (Executive Deputy Director, Shanghai Putuo District Market Supervision Administration; Shanghai Putuo District Intellectual Property Bureau; Shanghai Putuo District Consumer Rights Protection Committee), Tao Yeng (Chairman, The People's Congress of Changzheng Town, Putuo District, Shanghai) and She Jianghuai (Chairman, The People's Congress of Taopu Town, Putuo District, Shanghai) about ELI and showcased its initiatives and expanding influence.

This was followed by a presentation of ELI’s Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and the Council on Mutual Admissibility of Evidence and Electronic Evidence in Criminal Proceedings by one of the Project’s Co-Reporters, Prof Dr Lorena Bachmaier Winter.
