ELI Vice-President Sjef van Erp took part in the international high-level Conference ‘New Horizons for Torrens: Current Reforms, Emerging Issues’, held in Auckland (New Zealand) from 29–31 August 2018. The conference was organised by Auckland University Law School and supported by the Law Foundation of New Zealand. Part of his presentation on ‘Issues Arising from Privatising the Operation of a Public Register’ was devoted to the work by the ELI, particularly in the area of IT and law.
