ELI was represented by Second Vice-President Pietro Sirena at the 2026 IALS Global Law Deans' Forum, hosted by the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and facilitated by the International Association of Law Schools (IALS).

Professor Sirena, who also serves as Dean of the Bocconi School of Law in Milan, joined law school leaders and senior representatives of international legal organisations from around the world to discuss the renewal of legal education, technological advancements, and the teaching of international law.

His participation also formed part of ELI's ELI in the World initiative, commemorating the Institute's 15th anniversary by strengthening its international engagement and highlighting ELI's role in fostering dialogue across the global legal community.
