In a meeting attended by ELI’s President, its Secretary General and President Maya, the latter was given a presentation on the ELI, its history, structure, projects and other activities. President Maya mentioned that she was impressed by the range of topics tackled by ELI’s projects and by their universality, adding that they would be of benefit across frontiers. Potential avenues for cooperation were discussed.
The meeting is part of a series of meetings between ELI and similar organisations in Africa and Asia as well as courts of last instanceon the African and Asian continents.
