Organised by the European Judicial Network (EJN), this meeting on the Succession Regulation brought together representatives from the Ministries of Justice of all EU Member States alongside affiliated experts. The focus of the agenda was Regulation (EU) No 650/2012 on successions, an instrument for judicial cooperation in civil matters. The discussions highlighted recent developments and explored potential revisions aimed at adapting the framework to contemporary European realities.

In this context, ELI President and Co-Reporter of the ELI Principles and Guidance for Enforcement Against Digital Assets (2025), Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell, presented the project's findings and recommendations.
