The ELI President Christiane Wendehorst and Secretary General Vanessa Wilcox had the pleasure of welcoming the new International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) Secretary General Ignacio Tirado to the ELI Secretariat in Vienna on 10 December 2018. The three reflected on the fruitful relations that characterised their cooperation over the past five years and discussed various avenues to further intensify their partnership. The ELI wishes Secretary General Tirado the very best during his term in office.
