The delegation from the People’s Procuratorate of Beijing Municipality included Gao Baojing (Deputy Procurator General), Liu Hui (Director of Office), Li Xinyu (Director), Wang Yanpeng (Prosecutor) and Fu Xiaoyu (Deputy Procurator General).
ELI Secretary General Vanessa Wilcox gave a broad overview of ELI, its aims and activities, in particular its projects and emphasised how the latter have inspired national governments and EU bodies in the drafting of legislation and have received the endorsement of key national and European bodies, including the European Parliament.
