This year’s EU Model Torino with the topical theme ‘The Energy Union and Climate Action’ attracted around 80 participants from all over the globe. Over the course of three days, students took up the role of a Member of the European Parliament, a Member State representative in the Council of the EU or a journalist, and discussed the 2018/1999 EU Regulation on the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action. The outcome of their deliberations was a Proposal for amending the said Regulation. The Proposal that was approved within the EU Model Torino 2021 can be accessed here.
