ELI President Wendehorst and the Secretary General Pejčinović Burić discussed recent developments in areas of common interest, in particular regarding the rule of law and state of democracy in Europe.
The meeting offered also an opportunity to explore further cooperation possibilities between ELI and the Council of Europe as well as discuss the upcoming keynote speech of Secretary General Pejčinović Burić at the ELI Annual Conference 2021.
