In February, the ELI Council already re-elected the current ELI President, Prof Dr Pascal Pichonnaz, for a second term. Second Vice-President Anne Birgitte Gammeljord was re-elected as the First Vice-President, Sir Geoffrey Vos was elected Second Vice-President and Prof Dr Pietro Sirena will continue as Treasurer. Their terms of office begin today.
On 7 September 2023, the ELI Council also elected three innominate Executive Committee members: Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell and Dr Aneta Wiewiórowska-Domagalska were re-elected and Prof Dr Sylvaine Poillot-Peruzzetto will be joining the Executive for the first time.
