On the first day of the meeting, the expert group, consisting of Marc Clément (judge at the Administrative Court of Appeal of Lyon (France)), Paul Craig (Professor of English Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St John's College (United Kingdom)), Jens-Peter Schneider (Professor at the University of Freiburg (Germany)) and Marek Wierzbowski ((Professor at Warsaw University (Poland), partner of the law firm Prof Wierzbowski & Partners Advocates and Legal Counselors) as well as his assistant Katarzyna Ziółkowska), together with ELI President, Christiane Wendehorst, and ELI Secretary General, Vanessa Wilcox, pondered through a list of possible pre-submitted topics for future ELI projects in the field of administrative law. After a fruitful debate, two topics were shortlisted for further elaboration. The second day of the meeting was devoted to the discussion of the potential ELI project on artificial intelligence and administration.
The ELI would like to sincerely thank the experts for their extremely valuable input and looks forward to the commencement of projects in the field of administrative law, in a bid to balance its project portfolio.
Three additional High Level Expert Group meetings (in the field of company, criminal and family law) will be held in the upcoming months.
