Strobl, situated at one of Austria’s most beautiful lakes, is an inspiring place to be, especially in the summertime. Around 100 international students from 22 nations participated in an interdisciplinary thought exchange. The 70th Summer University raised the question: ‘Towards a European Legal Community?’ In her opening speech, Wendehorst introduced the ELI and its activities and talked about the role of a common EU legislation and its daily-life impact for EU citizens.
