The Project Team discussed further revisions to the Model Rules on Impact Assessment of Algorithmic Decision-Making Systems Used by Public Administrations, which they are developing. They focused in particular on the role of supervisory authorities monitoring the use of algorithmic decision-making systems as well as the possibility for complaints and legal protection against such systems.
The Team also considered the next steps of the project and decided to meet again in August. A webinar on the project will also be held in the framework of the ELI Annual Conference on 7 September 2021 from 10:30–11:45 (CET).
