Team members of the Business and Human Rights project, which is being conducted with input from the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), discussed, among other things, the project’s status, FRA’s research findings emerging from the second phase of their study on the matter and Team members’ drafts. Authors of chapters dealing with collective redress, private international law provisions with respect to access to remedies, and action and transparency, presented their drafts, following which Team members and Assessors, namely Corrado Malberti and Lord John Thomas, provided feedback.
The next remote meeting aims at discussing outstanding Chapters, more specifically the Chapters on human rights due diligence, and monitoring and enforcement mechanisms. It is planned for the second half of May.
