The conference brings together scholars from several jurisdictions to offer insights regarding the regulation of cross-border filiation. The main focus lies on the EU Parenthood Regulation and the scholarly project of the European Law Institute 'Enhancing Child Protection', the latter being a critical assessment of the former. It also takes into consideration other projects that considered the EU Parenthood from different (national or political) perspectives.
