ELI Launches a Ukrainian Library

21.10.2024

ELI is pleased to have collaborated with several publishers in establishing a Library in Ukraine.

ELI is pleased to have partnered with several publishers in the launch of a legal library, aimed at serving as a source of up-to-date legal literature and as a respite from the war. The first shipment of books from leading publishers, including Bund-Verlag, Edward Elgar Publishing, Helbing Lichtenhanm, Mohr Siebeck, Otto Schmidt, Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego, Nomos, CH Beck Poland, Wolters Kluwer and International Law Book Facility (UK), coincided with the Sixth International Week at West Ukrainian National University's Faculty of Law. The books, which ensure continued access to legal literature for Ukrainians in the midst of war, will be housed within the university's L Kanishchenko Library.

ELI is extremely grateful to the above publisher partners for their generosity. It is also indebted to Prof Dr Fryderyk Zoll, a member of the University's supervisory board and Professor at Jagiellonian University and Osnabrück University.

We are committed to securing more books and to partnering with further distinguished publishing houses.
