ELI President, Teresa Rodriguez de las Heras Ballell, and ELI Secretary General, Dr Vanessa Wilcox, held a remote meeting with members of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD).
The exchange included participation from Bert Zuidendorp (Head of Unit Legal Affairs), Carmen Muiz Sanchez (Head of Sector in DG TAXUD’s VAT Policy Unit), and Raluca Trasca (Head of Unit VAT Policy), and provided an opportunity to discuss developments in EU legal and VAT policy and to explore areas of mutual interest concerning regulatory implementation and future cooperation.
