The Italian Hub, in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission of the Naples Bar Association, the University of Naples Federico II and the Union des Avocats Européens, will hold a study day on ‘The New Frontiers Of The Protection Of Human And Fundamental Rights In Light Of European And National Legislation On Artificial Intelligence.’ The event, hosted at the Apple Developer Academy in Naples, will feature leading international experts and policymakers, including Judge Raffaele Sabato of the European Court of Human Rights.
The study day will examine the intersection of AI and human rights, focusing on key legal, ethical and societal challenges brought about by recent AI developments. Discussions will cover the AI Act’s ethical framework, the role of AI in daily life and its impact on privacy, labour rights and environmental protection.
