The current historical moment highlights some important variables in the evolution of private law rules and institutions, which have undergone a metamorphosis in order to respond to the need to ensure sustainability. There is a clear recourse to the tools offered by private law to resolve some of the problems that the historical period in which we live demands our attention. Through their interpretations, the courts have already played a fundamental role in ensuring the protection of environmental rights. The seminar aims to address the challenges in this area, considering the exchange between doctrine and jurisprudence.
The seminar is hosted at the premises of the Court of Cassation, an institutional member of ELI.
