The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the new ELI report on Business and Human Rights: Access to Justice and Effective Remedies. Participants discussed in particular the report’s recommendations on additional pathways for redress for victims of human rights abuses by businesses, such as the ELI proposal to establish a European Ombuds Institution for Corporate Responsibility.
Participants were joined by Katja Kolman from the ELI Secretariat.
