The 6th International Conference on European Company Law and Corporate Governance is organised by the ELI Institutional Member, the Department of Business Law at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economic & Business, in partnership with the ELI Business and Financial Law SIG and with the support of the ELI Croatian Hub.

Titled “The New Era of Corporate Governance: Sustainability at the Crossroads” will discuss the current developments in the field of corporate sustainability, in particular, the recent sustainability package: Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), alongside the use of digital technology in company law, challenges in the application of artificial intelligence in corporate governance, duties and responsibilities of board members, corporate reporting and auditing, and new tendencies in comparative company law – liberalisation of capital requirements and the emergence of new company forms.
